The photography centers on backlit aspens, mountain context, intimate trunk patterns and weather moving across the San Juan country.
The route follows color across elevation, from intimate aspen groves to broader mountain layers, while preserving the flexibility to respond to weather, road access and the strongest available light.

I work beside you in the field, demonstrate how I read the light, and give specific feedback on composition, exposure, focal length and the frame you are building. With a four-person maximum, instruction stays personal and responsive to the conditions in front of us.

A $750 deposit reserves your place. The remaining $2,245 balance is due August 2, 2027. This tour is limited to four photographers and will operate with a minimum of two paid participants.

How do I reserve my place?
Select Reserve Now and purchase one $750 deposit per photographer. The deposit is applied toward the $2,995 total; the remaining balance link is sent directly before it is due.
What will we photograph?
Backlit aspens, intimate trunk patterns, grand mountain context and weather-driven layers.
How demanding will it be?
Field days include early starts, changing elevation, uneven trails and mountain roads. Daily locations follow safe access and current conditions.
What is the minimum enrollment?
The tour is limited to four photographers and will operate with a minimum of two paid participants. If the minimum is not reached, all payments will be refunded.
